Using an elk diaphragm is foundational to every call, so don't skip this lesson even if you've been calling for years! Learn the right way to hold the diaphragm with your tongue, add pressure and blow hot air from your diaphragm.

Nail the basic elk bugle so you can build off it in the Intermediate Course. Learn how to hold a bugle tube and where to place your mouth — then start "climbing the staircase" before you drop your jaw.
